About LawCover's Risk Management Education Program (RMEP)
Since its inception in August 1995, the RMEP has delivered more than 1,500 presentations to over 25,000 participants including legal practitioners, their secretarial and administrative staff, and new law graduates. Seminars have been presented extensively throughout the Sydney CBD, the metropolitan region, rural NSW, the ACT, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, North East Victoria and Melbourne. 
 In-house presentations
Flexibility of its presentation is a feature of the RMEP with many law practices, groups of practitioners, regional Law Societies and tertiary institutions taking advantage of arranging in-house programs. All courses can be adapted for specific law practice or other interest groups' requirements. Please contact Risk Management Services on 02 9286 8877 for more information.
Risk Management Educators
Each RMEP course is facilitated by LawCover's Risk Management Educators. The educators have all been accredited to present the RMEP courses on behalf of LawCover. Premium Discounts for 2010/2011
Discounts on Compulsory Professional Indemnity Insurance premiums for the 2010/2011 insurance year will be offered to law practices. Where all principals at 12 March 2010 have since 1 July 2002 satisfactorily completed all three workshops of LawCover’s Principals’ Risk Management Education Program and remain as principals of the law practice at 1 July 2010, a 2.5% discount applies in addition to any claims experience discount. | Where all four previous modules were completed prior to 1 July 2002 it will be necessary for the Refresher Risk Management Program to be satisfactorily completed by 12 March 2010 in order for the discount to apply for 2010/2011. |
Practitioners who have already completed LawCover’s Stress and the Legal Profession course will not need to complete Refresher Module 1 in order to complete the Refresher Risk Management Program.

*What Constitutes Satisfactory Completion of a Course?
Satisfactory completion of a course requires:
- Active participation during the course
- Attendance for the full duration of the course
- Full payment of the course fee prior to attendance unless otherwise agreed
Participants who arrive late, move in and out of the course, take lengthy telephone calls, absent themselves from sessions, return late from breaks, decline to take part in discussions, or fail to pay fees, do not meet the guidelines for satisfactory completion. Course Content
